Portland Bound!

OK so I finally did it. I am officially registered for the Portland marathon on October 5th!!! After playing with airline tickets and hotels this week, I decided we should just do it even though we really don't have any vacation money right now. I mean, this chance doesn't come around all the time. So I ran another 12 mile training run this morning and that means next Saturday will be either 18 or 20 miles, woohoo!! So it looks like me and Stan will head up to Portland for just 2 days, the 4th through the 6th of October and my mom will keep the kids for us: thank you mom!! Anyone want to run with me next weekend or go cheer me on in Portland??
