Soccer camp

The big kids had soccer camp this week everyday from 1030-12, yes in this miserable 100+ heat!!! They had so much fun and learned so much. Their coaches are actually from out of the country, mostly Britain, but the kids main coach was the awesome girl from Ireland. We chatted with her a bunch and the one thing she noted about her impressions of America (she was here for a couple of months doing soccer camps all over), was that our food is ridiculously sweet. She said even our loaves of bread made her sick in the beginning because of all that sugar!!!

Slide Time

So it must be summer, because we drug the ol' waterslide out of the garage and set it up for a weekend of water fun! We had some friends over and the kids had a blast. Mommy thought it was TOO hot though......

Playing Possum

Castle chased a possum up our fence. He had it up there for over an hour.....even after we locked Castle in the possum refused to come down. It was even hissing at Stan as he was snapping pictures. Isn't this the dirties, freakiest creature you have ever seen?!

Aquarium

We took another trip to the World Aquarium today! We had to do something air conditioned after taking the kids to the waterpark yesterday!!

New set of wheels

Another pink stroller psuher in the house! Im not proud, but he saw Katie's stroller just waiting to be pushed and he decided that he didn't mind the fact that it was pink one little bit!

Austin got his new big boy bike today, 16" of Toy Story greatness!

Celebrate freedom!

Happy July 4th to everyone! Chase spent the day carrying around his patriotic flags waving them proudly! After a day of church, chasing/feeding the ducks, snowcones, and playing at the park, we were EXHAUSTED! A wonderful to spend the day.....free!

First haircut

So after 13 and a half months of growth, it was time for a haircut (as you can see!). Here are the before, during, and after shot of my little baby. Thanks to Sandra for being able to cut his hair well with him wiggling around so much!!!!

July 3rd at the lake

OK so me and blogger aren't getting along well right now so here are the pictures from the lake this year on the 3rd of July. Katie and Austin played on the slide, rode in the boat, and had a great time with the family. Little Chase wallered in the grass, played in the water, and crashed out on the boat for a good nap. Here are a few of the pics in a bad order:

What a mess!!!

Here is the real deal Chase: paci in mouth, no pants, drool all over his shirt, snotty nose, messy hair, lounged out on the dog's pink couch with a big 'ol smile! Love this little guy :)
