Flashback, 10 Years Ago

Let's paint the picture of where I was ten years ago with a couple of pics:

OK, now let's talk about our big reunion bash! We got all dressed up and ready and headed to uptown and had some martinis with Ashley and Stephanie. The pre drinking was necessary to eliminate the mistake we had made the night before. Upon arrival to the 69th floor of the Bank of America building, we walked in and saw the paper we had written on at Project Graduation. I took a picture of what appears to be my third grade handwriting skills along with my defining characteristic in life, my softball number! Then we headed straight for the bar and I started drinking so I could have enough personality to get through this evening. Well it worked, after a couple of hours I was having a good time but poor Stan was learning way too much about the Duncanville High School class of '98. We had some food, alot more drinks, and before we knew it the reunion was over. So we headed over to Iron Cactus to the after party and had some more drinks and swapped so more stories with old friends. By the end of the night I had more drinks then I have probably had in the last 4 years combined and spent over 5 times what I budgeted for the night. But at the end of the day it was an awesome time and I can't remember the last time I got home at 3:30 in the morning from a night on the town!

Here is a shot of me and Stan from about half way through the reunion.

Me, Stephanie, and Ashley. This was our safe group!

This is me and Mr. Wo. He was my Chemistry teacher in 11th grade and changed my life and put me on my track in the science field. He made learning fun, put up with my antics, and made an effort to get to know you on a personal level. What I mean here is he made sure to talk about how great Tech was and how horrible UT was at any given moment because he knew how much it bothered me! We also worked together at the Duncanville Athletic Club so it was great to have him there to catch up. Mr Cox was also there doing the DJ thing, he was another one of my awesome teachers from high school that inspired me to head into the science based world of Kinesiology. Go high school!!
