Children's Museum

This morning after Stroller Strides, we headed out to Fair Park for a playgroup at the Dallas Children's Museum! I was not too sure how the kids were going to do and before we got there I had already wished I brought a couple of kid leashes :) Surprisingly, both kids did really well and ended having tons and tons of kiddie fun. They had a fire truck to play in, a water room, a backyard themed room, a sandbox, and a bunch of other random themed rooms. It made me much happier to know we got our $14.25 out of it! I think we were there over two hours before Austin hit his no food/no nap wall so we called it a day. I think it's funny to walk through the Science Place and remember being there in elementary school, the place hasn't changed that much in almost 20 years! I think we may head back there next month when Stan is on vacation....

This was Katie's nice way of telling him it was no longer his turn to drive.

Katie with a somewhat natural smile, we don't see those very often!

Fun at the farm! This was right before about a million older kids decked out in orange shirts invaded the farm area. Why are there always school fieldtrips at the places I plan playgroups on the same day?

Check out the red snake in the tank. He thought it was pretty cool, I disowned him shortly after this!

Katie has always been skeptical of meat (she's got a plastic steak). Maybe she was reading my copy of Skinny B****!

The sandbox was a big hit

I was surprised this didn't freak Katie out, but her and Austin both thought it was pretty cool. In fact, Austin had a tantrum shortly after this picture because I made them leave it after 10 minutes of doing the same thing.
