Last night the kids had their first swim lessons. After last year, I wanted to make sure they got exposed to water safety and all that good stuff because I know how much time they spend in the water over the summer. So we have it all planned, Stan will come straight from work, my mom will come straight from work, and they will save me from having to get my 32 week pregnant self in a bathing suit in the water. So we all get there to find out that parents stay on the other side of the pool, pretty much out of sight during the class! So I think the kids did great, I got to see them learn how to blow bubbles and work on kicking and stuff. So I am guessing next class, everyone will ditch me and leave me sitting alone in the muggy pool area trying to catch a glimpse of the kids!
So then this morning we had our second dentist visit. Last time I had Stan with me and it took a long time to get through both kids. Today I ventured it alone and it was super easy. All they did was brush their teeth, put on the flouride, and check each tooth with a mirror, etc. That was it, 30 minutes and I was out of there with 2 kids and 2 sets of clean teeth, wahoo!
