MeMe and Chase at the end, we were all ready to go. All that cold and rain and we pick the hottest, muggiest, blah day to go to the fair! Oh well it was still lots of fun, we'll be back next year of course!

A couple of corny dogs, a friend PBJ&B sandwich, and fried butter later (by the way the fried butter was awesome with the honey, powdered sugar on it), we headed to the Midway, aka, talk all daddys hard earned money way. Since we have two kids, each ride was 6-8 coupons times two kids times five rides equals about70 coupons (that is 35 dollars people!!). There is a reason you only go once a year! Here is Austin on his favorite ride, the motorcycles:
My mom in on the action, Austin was mad because his chocolate milk was too cold, is there a such thing?:
Taking a chocolate milk break on the benches, yes Chase already woke up, good times:
We lost Chase, we knew we would and that darn stroller doesn't recline enough for him to sleep in it:
Katie posing with Boudreaux, ahhhh Borden milk for only 1 dollar, the cheapest thing at the fair. We all purchased a drink here to save on the small cokes that cost 8 coupons (aka 4 bucks!):
Austin's favorite part of the entire fair, the car buildings! He wanted to test drive everything, this was his favorite: the new blue Ford Ranger truck, his dream vehicle :) He even drove a blue Corvette and still, this one was his fav!:
The annual picture in front of Big Tex, don't mind that my mom cut his head off, we know who it is! Oh and it was super hot and sunny the day we went, notice Austin wearing my sunglasses! Rumor has it Mr. Tex may have gotten a spray tan this year......
Chase looking like a big boy in the stroller without his car seat. Hard to believe he will be 5 months in another week!:
We have arrived at the Fair after picking up the kids from preschool! We met my mom there and were feeling a bit nervous about having only spots for 2 kids in a stroller this year meaning one would always be walking amoungst the crowds, yikes! We actually started with all 3 in the stroller (Katie stands, Austin sits, and Chase in the front) but it didn't last as long as I would have liked:
