Spaghetti Explosion

Chase had his first experience with spaghetti tonight. He ate some off a spoon, some with his fingers, threw some to the dog, and had a blast. I see many messes in our future!

Happy Father's Day!

So I am super behind on my posts so here is one that is mostly pictures. We spent this Father's Day weekend swimming at my dad's house. The kids had a blast swimming, riding the blowup jestski, and playing with dive sticks. We cooked out and got our bellies full! Chase just absolutely LOVED being in the water! Here are the shots:

A week in review

What an amazing and whirlwind of a week we just had in our household! This week was Vacation Bible School at our church and guess who was in charge of recreation?! ME!!! Elementary kids were quite the challenge but we all survived (even Chase with his crazy out of routine naps!) and we all had tons of fun along the way! Here are a few pics from our week, but of course none were from VBS, but the first is us before VBS. 

Chuck-a-rama

I took all three kids to Chuck E Cheese this morning by myself to reward the big kids with their "allowances" in the form of tokens. This is for keeping up with their chore charts for making their beds, helping with laundry, dishes, etc. Chase was a handful, he loved the rides and walking around like crazy. He is in a phase at home where mommy is the center of his world and he needs me constantly. At Chuck E Cheese the opposite was true, he was actually trying to run away from me! Ahhhh....mommy is exhausted!

...that the box the toy came in is more fun than the toy! This is Chase's "boat"....he climbs on it and plays and wallers around on it!

Memorial Day

My nephew's 3rd birthday party was down at the lake, so we decided to head down early and do some fishing, boating, and swimming! The kids had a blast, Chase loved his first boatride, and as always the water slide was a big hit. I also noticed that I started this blog on his 1st bday and now little Ryan is 3 years old!! Happy 3rd to him and happy 2nd year of blogging to me :)
