My big boy!

My little baby boy has gotten so big lately! He can drink out of a sippy cup now (although we aren't using it much) and he can hold it himself! On a good day he can hold it the entire bottle's worth without dropping it. He will be 7 months on Christmas Eve, he weighs in at about 18lbs and can sit and has a desire to crawl but can't make it quite happen yet. He loves his exersaucer and bouncy thing and needs a haircut (although I refuse!). My baby is just growing so fast!

Sunday Church

Here are some shots of the kids dressed up for Christmas at church on Sunday. I also got a good family shot at church that a friend took, but I don't have it yet. Otherwise, I struggled to get a good one of the three kids, but here is what I got:

Noooooooooooooo!

Apparently my Katie Pie is so old now that there is no lilypie ticker for her age! Check it out to the right, now it is a generic one from here on out, no cute little number to travel to :( Where has the time gone?!

White Rock 1/2

We took this pic as the "before"
I then refused to take an "after" shot!

Stan had a great run, mine not so much. I have had a head cold lately, an ankle ache, and blisters. All together equals 13 miles of not fun running! But it got done, go us!

Growing too fast

So it has finally come and went: my sweet baby girl has turned 5 years old. She is no longer a newborn, a baby, a toddler, or a preschooler. She is now a KID, I have one of those, noooooooo! We had a great day celebrating with family and friends and here are some pics of my "baby". I took ZERO pics of her bday cake but I did get it on video.

Advent update

So I should have known there would be no time to write down what we did everyday to celebrate advent. But we have been keeping up as best as we can. As a family we have donated toys to multiple charities, took food to the food pantry, read from our Advent devotional, and just have tried to enjoy this holiday season. Not going to lie, its not near as relaxing as I had hoped for, we are so so so busy that having family time is not easy at all. We are just trying as best we can though. Happy Holidays to everyone!

Staples

What is a holiday season without a trip to the ER? Well this one was for Austin. He was climbing onto the roof of his Little Tykes coupe car to sit on top and I don't know, look cool I guess. According to Katelyn, the only witness, he fell off and hit his head on the tile. All we know if he came running in to where we were (other room with Chase), and was crying (like he does at least 10 times a day when he gets hurt). Then we saw the blood everywhere and knew we were in trouble. We got it under control and sat down to watch a movie and about an hour later it started bleeding again so we knew what we had to do. So we went in and he got 3 staples in the back of his head without numbing medication of any kind. He must have run out of tears by then because he didn't even cry when they did it! He also did not cry when the pulled them out a week later, he just winced at the last one a bit. What a brave (and clumsy) boy!
