Last Music Program

Tonight we skipped swimming lessons because the kids had their last program at school before summer. They both got up with their class and sang two songs and then the whole group came back together for one last song. Both kids were identical in that they did all the motions/movements of the songs but neither of them sang a word (even thought I have heard them belting out these same songs here at the house!!

Back to the Museum

I took the kids back down to Fair Park last Friday but just now uploaded the couple of pics I took. I let the kids run wild at the Children's Museum before headed out back to walk around the lagoon and enjoy the weather. Then we headed downtown to have lunch with daddy and MeMe. Then we went to pick out a stuffed animal for our new baby brother (to give him at the hospital). I expected a dog since Katie has her dogs and Austin has his dogs. So what did they pick? A blue elephant! Well two of them, they both got one so we would have a backup elephant if he takes to it. Fun Fun day!!

While the cat is away....

This is what Austin did for naptime without Katie last weekend. He was sad without his sister (she was at a party) so he snuck in her room, grabbed all her pink pillows and curled up on the floor of his room to nap. Cute!

Tea Time

So Katie went to a birthday party last weekend that was so super girlie and she loved it! It was a tea party complete with making straw hats and carrying umbrellas. They served finger sandwiches and iced tea for lunch. She had a blast!!

Both kids also got to go to BounceTown for Claire's bday party and finally Austin started to enjoy bounce houses! He did so great on his own that me and Stan got to stand around and just watch. It's interesting how easy watching our two has gotten that now we will have to readjust to life with chaos anyday now!!

Indoor Swimming

Today we took the kids to the indoor pool where they are taking swimming lessons for some afternoon rainy day fun. Daddy and MeMe took them in while I stayed in my chair on dry land so not to show off a 36 week belly in a swimsuit! I snapped some pics while they were in. This was also our first time trying out our new swimvests and they were a huge success!!

Non-photo updates!

To catch everyone up on the last week, we still have no new laptop yet but we were able to strip down the old desktop and get it partially back up and running. We do not have Microsoft Office on it anymore because it was pre-installed on the computer and isn't contained in the backup disks. We also have a weird internet connection but I am able to use it and that's what counts for now!
Last Monday the kids started their new class, Sport Skills, through the city. I give it a D- because I feel I could teach it ten times better and since I am paying for it, that isn't a good thing. The kids had fun though, last weeks skill was basketball, who knows what it will be today!
On Tuesday I had an ultrasound to make sure baby's kidneys had returned to their normal size and the cysts were gone. Thankfully they were and he now has a clean bill of health. At 35 weeks his size is already 5lbs 14oz, I think I am in trouble with this one!
On Saturday the kids had another Blastball game! Katie is LOVING it but Austin is only lukewarm about it. I think its because he is so much younger, but he does love hitting the ball, just not having to play the field. After the game, they went to stay with PawPaw while we had us a little babymoon here. We elected to stay home and do pretty much nothing and it was so great! We ventured out twice to eat and rent movies but otherwise we stayed in. We watched Seven Pounds and Fireproof in addition to cheering on the Mavs win on Saturday. Castle was also spoiled with long walks during the weekend.
Well that's all for now, hopefully I can have pics again soon when we get our new computer, it did ship today so wahoo for that!

Out of Touch!!

So our computer has finally bit the dust. It has been a long time coming but after almost 6 years, it is a goner. I don't know what finally did it in, some kind of virus we think, we are still working on recovery but it is bleek. We ordered our new laptop today but we may not get it for up to two weeks. So long story short, I only have internet after 7Pm on weeknights and on the weekends when Stan has his work laptop home. Please don't email me with information that you want me to get earlier than that. Also don't expect any blog updates other than frustration posts about how I need my computer back!!!! Feel free to send your old computer desktop computer our way, we still have our monitor, keyboard, and mouse :) Until it arrives.........
