Cooler weather

It was very temporary and short lived but we did have a few days where we could actually play outside comfortably! Here are the boys playing in the front having a good times. Austin did not want his picture taken so they are mostly Chase who hasn't figured out to be annoyed at me yet :)



More firsts!

Austin had his first day of 4 day preschool, hooray! He was super excited and since this was his 3rd year he gets to enjoy some of the older kid perks such as playing on the big park! He did great and mommy is so happy for summer to be over. I know it won't always be this way, but right now I feel like I need my breaks!!! On a sidenote Chase has also begun MDO :)



August wrapup

Here are some Chase snapshots. This month we moved him to one nap a day....and while he was adjusting to it, here he is falling asleep on the couch at 615 at night....

On the 27th we celebrated my 30th birthday! Chase helped himself to many bites of my cake :) I don't have any of the pics from this night except for my Chase:

And now August is done.....bring on the fall!!!

Time passes way too fast

I can't believe it has happened. My sweet tiny little Katie Pie has gone off to Kindergarten. Tear. Tear. Tear. She has never been so excited and I know she is ready for this time in her life. She skipped into school and went into her classroom to get started on this new chapter in life. I think she was curious why mommy and daddy kept following her instead of leaving her to do her work :) I know my big girl will do great things in life, and I just can't believe how big she has gotten. I love her more everyday, what a precious gift she is to me.

Chase has a million funny faces that he shares with me on a daily basis. My favorite has to be the random open mouth when he sees the camera. I guess this is what he thinks a smile is, he finally did give me some smiles because he thought it was funny that I was laughing at him with his random open mouth "smiles":

So the August heat has kept us from doing anything really exciting, mostly inside hanging out. These are the few pics we took of us doing.....well, nothing :)
